I have created so many drawings exploring the events of Sycamore Gap, keeping them fairly private until now. Eventually, I distilled these thoughts and feelings into this final etching. I think now is the perfect time to release this exclusive and limited run of etchings, as I am honoured to announce that I have just become a Woodland Trust ambassador.
The reaction to the loss of the beautiful sycamore was ultimately a sign of real hope. It brought to the surface our natural connection and deep love for trees. We know trees protect us on so many levels, and we know our trees require our protection in return. Our interdependence is crucial to our future as individuals and society as a whole.
Following recently becoming an ambassador of the Woodland Trust, I am pleased to announce the release of just 30 copper plate etchings of ‘Sycamore Gap 2224’.
These 30 etchings are only being made available to my mailing list subscribers.
Each original etching is hand-printed from the copper plate, limited to an edition of 30. Every artwork is then signed, titled, and numbered by myself, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
