Have you ever wanted to step into a painting ? …. Turns out you can !

In July 2023, Luke had the incredible honor of receiving an invitation to the magnificent Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. The experience proved to be unlike any other, as he was granted the unique opportunity to set up his easel within the resplendent Painted Hall. His first visit to the Painted Hall dated back to 2019, when he had only brought along his sketchbook, so returning this time with his easel was an absolute pleasure.

This serene and tranquil environment presented a stark contrast to much of Luke's usual city architectural artwork. He was fortunate enough to spend two full days at the easel, and the experience felt somewhat meditative for him. Luke believes he has successfully captured the very essence of this magnificent location. Luke extends a big thank you to Alex Leggatt for joining him in documenting the entire process and capturing some truly amazing footage.
